Today's verse
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, (Hebrews 12:1 NIV)
This semester especially this verse has stuck out to me because there are so many things either on my plate or that I or others want to put on my plate. I have to remember daily whose I am and who I am working and living for. Another thing this verse reminds me is not to do something just because you can but make sure you are called to do it and it goes toward God's glory. Even getting entangled in the mundane can lead to disobedience. God is good, God is love and God has a plan and keep him at your first priority!
