Passion 2013
As some of you know I just came back from Passion 2013 Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, with 60,000+ people. This is my third time I have gone to the conference and the third time that God has blown my mind in what He is doing through me.
This year it was again about slavery a passion God has placed on my heart since Passion 2012.
My word for the year is attentive and it is neat to see how God is already using my eyes and ears to see and hear more about how I can make a difference on this issue, and this coincides with my Divinity school classes as well, which is a God thing!
My small group at Passion (go striped orange) challenged me to step out of my comfort zone (though they don't know they did it) and react to situations that I can do something about. For without each of us doing something a lasting and eternal impact will not be made.
As the year continues, I hope that my fight against slavery continues. One thing that opened my eyes was how many slaves I have working for me. You can find this out at slaveryfootprint.org. Take the test and see how many you have and ways you can change to be the difference the world needs.
More to come!
Love EB
