Getting acclimated is a wonderful thing!

This was supposed to be posted last summer but never made it. What a great reminder of how faithful God is at all times and circumstances.

So this time I am marking new goals which is making me very happy. Tonight I was able to help in the kitchen and cook, which was great! I was excited when I said come get me when you need help and they did. I am understanding more of the common every day speaking then I did last year and I am very excited about that. The combinations of the three languages is weird but it is really neat how they start with one, meld into another and finish with a third. The division of languages at Babel was and is truly a beautiful.

I have been able to take Jr to school and hang out with the boys a lot this week and it is great to see what they are becoming. Last year they were stand offish and this year it is really neat to bust out Michael Jackson songs with them, dance randomly in the kitchen and just have a good laugh at each other's expense.

My friend was laughing when I was skyping with him last night because when a different person would walk into the room I would have a different accent because they understood one better than the other. It was funny.

Yesterday I got to hold Freddie which was not even thought about last year and he is sooo cute. I have been able to do set up see people I know walking around the town and they yell and I yell back. I had been in town maybe two days and I was scared to death when I was in the grocery store and someone came up to me that I knew and said hello!

I have already eaten more random fruit and veggies than last year and trying a bunch of random stuff that has been great. I have already eaten my weight in avocado, it is what they call the "poor person's ham".

Tomorrow starts a long three weeks but I am excited about seeing more friends that have become family and I can't wait to see how much they have grown and how much they remember.

God is and will always remain great and I am excited to see how he has and is working still in the place that to me never changes but is always changing...
