Day 1 home

Psalm 119:10-11, 32 NIV

I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. I run in the path of your commands, for you have broadened my understanding.

This morning these passages have stuck out to me. Day one of reentry and the list of things to do is longer than I am really wanting to admit. Yet there is a moment of realization that it is not about the list or the dirt or the chaos that I cause. It is about the moment the understanding the time spend dwelling in his presence and living out under his authority and within his obedience. Last night after eating American food and taking an American shower I was then reminded that to much is given much is required. Therefore I found yet again I am required to do give and be "much" for God because he is "much" for me.

Today's prayer is this. To keep mindful of his spirit aware of his presence and obedient to his word and law. May your Wednesday be blessed and your heart be a tune to his leading.
