Don't FALL for it, make your mark!

It's the middle of October and two months and two weeks Christmas will be upon us. Now if that is a scary reality for you as much as it is me we have some planning and some thinking to happen before we get caught up in the madness (yes I said madness) that the holidays can bring. Do not get me wrong. I LOVE the holiday season. The fires, the trees, the smell, the family (the crazy family members also) but sometimes we just need to take time for ourselves. To step back and see what God is doing and has done for us this year and to be thankful for those wonderful precious moments.

Sometimes it is keeping a jar of thankful notes, other times it is sharing those moments with a friend or loved one, or for you maybe this year has been really rough and you just don't want to be thankful. That is real. I understand. Hang in there be thankful you are making it through and there is a light whether you see it or not. It is there hold on.

As I begin to think about how this year's holiday's are going to go and what stress could be involved if I let it, for the moment I am committing to just release it and enjoy the season. No not all the dishes are washes, or the clothes clean and I couldn't tell you the last time I mopped the bathroom floor, eww gross, I know, but the moments that are shared in this crisp fall weather are something to be treasured to hold on to and to enjoy. Because like everything else, they are fleeting.

Breath in, breath deep, just breath. Step back and be in awe of what God is doing, where he has brought you from, and where He is leading you to. You have the ability whether you realize it or not to make an impact wherever you go. It is your choice whether that impact will be good or bad.

Many thoughts and prayers.
