One less here but one more angel.

Last week, I lost someone very dear to many of us. One of our students passed away and will be greatly missed. From the first round of truck students that arrived in the U.S. I knew that they would impact me. However, I did not realize how much they would change me. The day that those six were picked up from the airport changed my view on many things.

Today's post is in tribute to Kelvin. His gentle and kind spirit was always loved. The way that his smile would light up any room that he would walk into. He had this deep love for Jesus and God and many times was called pastor or old man, because his nature was relaxed and understanding.

There are so many things that will be missed about this man. He loved his family and would consistently Skype his family and friends and would let us Skype with them. He found that he loved honeybuns while over here and would always smile when those who show up.

Kelvin you will be sincerely and deeply missed, however I am so excited to know where you are now and who you are with. My thoughts and prayers are with your family and your friends as the transition to life without you will be deeply hard.

You will be with us always.
