Pantry update week 3
Update on the pantry.
Well it has almost been another week and the pantry and freezer cleaning/ using is still going strong. The grocery store has not been seen other than just picking up ingredients for a birthday cake that I didn't have and a head of lettuce. I did buy turkey tenderloin at the grocery store on sale because I forgot to thaw out meat for one night's dinner.
My freezer is getting more skim than my pantry. Final pictures will be posted at the first of the week when the month is over. I have made different items this week. Biscuits that were yummy more sweet potatoes from the Valentine's recipe that Andrew found. I have made I made more broccoli from the freezer, combined with brown rice and then polynesian sauce from Chick-fil-a. I also finished off some of Sister Schubert's rolls that we had leftover from Valentine's.
I have eaten out more than I thought I would this month with us both not eating out unless others asked. However with gift cards and other people that has helped the pantry be a little more full than I wanted it to be at the end of this month.
That is what I know for now. More to come soon.
