Silk Dyed Easter Eggs
Easter Tie-dyed eggs.
No joke. This was really fun and really easy.
What you need is:
100% Silk Ties
Coffee Filters or plain fabric (I used coffee filters)
Eggs
Water
A pot to boil water
1/4 cup vinegar.
Rubberbands
Cut the ties to make sure they will wrap completely around the eggs. If there is a cloth insert in the ties remove that.
Wrap the egg tightly with the cut silk securing it with a rubberband.
Then add a coffee filter around the silk and egg secure with another rubberband.
Then put the eggs in a pot of water with 1/4 cup vinegar let them simmer for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes easily pour off the water and then let them cool for 5 minutes. Then carefully pull off the layers of the coffee filters and silk. Then let them dry. They turn out super cool! Check it out.
