Hurry up and wait.

We are at the point where there is a bunch to do but not too much to do at this point. I do not know how I feel about that. The house is better than it was. I have cleaned up some. The shorting still needs to happen more on a global scale but we will get there at one point or another. There is stuff still in the living room but the house is manageable. The next project is working on getting things sorted and beginning to wrap our minds around what Andrew is going to bring into the house and where we are going to put that stuff. We will get there as everyone always does but it we are not there yet. We hope to begin packing some of it up next weekend but just like everything else recently we have been focusing on what is the most pressing need and then going from there.

I was able to take some intentional time to go through some much accumulated paperwork and though much of it unfortunately was not able to be thrown away it was able to be sorted and I can now file it which is a great progress. I will be able to put information away and off my desk which is wonderful.

We moved out my roommate this weekend and it was so sad but it was great for this season and we are excited about the next adventure that she is going to have and we can share together. Prayers for transitions as they are never easy but often so worth it. We are ready to see how God uses, shapes and grows us together in a new way and in a new season.

We both have some serious purging of our lives to accomplish and this is the time to make sure that happens.
