ONE WEEK AWAY

We are a week out from the week. Do you understand that? A WEEK? Things are flying by just like time so much usually does. We are trying to soak it all in and take in every minute of things that we can. Things are busy as usual with normal life and you throw in a wedding and more nerves are pulled strings stretched and life chaotic. This past weekend we were able to get away for a wedding and it was stunning. The bride was beautiful and they did a great job of making the weekend a time to get away and to hang out. We relaxed and quickly came back to reality that we have stuff to get accomplished.

Andrew is busy finishing up his class. We are busy setting up the house and getting it ready for people to stay. Things are hopping. We are so excited to spend time with family and friends yet I am scared we are not going to enjoy the moment and just have fun. It will all get there eventually.
It is crazy to think that in a week that the real adventure will begin. The adventure of figuring each other out, trying to learn to live with one another, and enjoying the little moments along the way. We have things each to get accomplished and goals that we want to reach. One of my goals is to be better about dinners and lunches and really try to do a better job of meal prepping and planning. I have been terrible this past month and we have spent too much money and also eaten more junk than I want to admit. I need to get back on that band wagon especially during fall because I always eat more trash in the winter than I do in the summer.

We have begun to plan adventures and dream of the next places we can travel to and the next projects that we want to start in our house. Those will begin to be tackled once we get married and that will be a fun process hoping we can finish them with not too many arguments and some fun memories along the way.

In the meantime, we will just be enjoying the moment. Moments go by so fast. They are both scary and fun, mentally taxing and relaxing and they provide an insight to our biggest priorities. We want to love on the people around us, our friends, family and neighbors, and love on one another as we grow together.

Here is the start of something new and the true countdown is on. Let’s get packing!

Love of love from team one week away from the wedding.
