December is here.
Tonight we are headed to bed early and it is this time of the year that I am more thankful for the little things than usual so bed early sounds like a wonderful plan.
Tomorrow starts advent and we are excited about what is to come. If you have you are reading this and you have not signed up for our blog emails click on the right-hand side and put in your email for the next days until Christmas you will get an advent email daily devotion. Our prayer is that it guides us into this season with a new mind and a new heart as we face the world around us which sometimes can be pretty ugly. May we approach it with grace, love, and hope.
We are thinking about different things that we want to plan for 2018 and it has been great vision casting and setting up goals to start the 2018 year. It was funny to see how we wrote our lists separately. Andrew's list is very bullet pointed and linear, mine is in bubbles with all different fonts and it looks like a child scribbled through all of it to try and separate all the different ideas.
Our goal was to write 18 things to accomplish in 2018. I wrote mine first and without peaking Andrew began to write his. He has a few more to think about but of the 12 he came up with 3 of ours were the exact same. Go figure. I guess those will be the first priorities and projects that are really on our mine and hope to be accomplished soon.
May the end of your year set up for the best year yet and may your December and 2018 be full of hope, expectation, and joy as you remember the real reason for the season and share that with others.
More adventures to come.
