Rain

Sitting collecting food bags this morning in the tent while it is pouring outside. There is something magical about water. It has the power and potential to move everything in its path but it also is the source of life and hope to many places who live in aigst, earnestly awaiting its pure arrival. Water can carry some of the most harmful of diseases and yes can bring about peace.

How it is that this little 3 moleculed structure does all this?

For me it is just a reminder that God is bigger than anything we can ever hope to control. Our lives, our fears, our failures and our successes can either crush us like water or revive us and give us a new passion for life.

I am reminded that "He restores our soul" and "He makes everything glorious".

So now as I think of what could be flooded and what needs to be aired out when I get home, I am thankful that he is above those things and in control.
