New Perspective Changes Reality.
Life, What a whirlwind at times. God is crazy in how he moves and works in and through our life. The moments where we focus on forgiveness, hope and restoration. The moments when we focus on the pain, the frustration and the hurt. Then there are moments so pure that are beyond words where we focus on grace, and love and faith. This brings us true peace.
New perspective changes these realities. These moments then get put into reality. They then get given a place and space in our lives if we let them. Times this past week the perspective that I have had have not been always the greatest. I needed a mind shift, a body focus and a perspective change. They came not exactly when I prayed for them but they came in small moments. They came through a "you can do this" or a smile-y emoji or a just breathe I feel your pain phone call. It is during these moments that I understand that we crave, we yearn, we long for relationships. We long for people who know our needs and respect us. Those who allow us to let our guard down, to be goofy and real. Those are the people in our life that knows our true meaning. We get so focused and perceive that we should all be a certain way, dress accordingly and follow rules according to that social stereotype.
That is BOLOGNA. It has a first name called PRIDE. This pride does not allow us to be who we truly are, to show others our real selves and to allow each of us to just be. If that was the case this tom-boy girl that I am would not be able to LOVE mowing, and pedicures, photography and construction, art and action movies. That would be against my social construct. God did not create us for social construct, but to know Him and to make Him known.
This reality is huge. God moves and works in and through our lives with our likes and dislikes. He brings people into relationship with us that not only compliment ourselves but challenge us to become something better something brighter for him.
Deal with the pain, deal with the hurt, and frustration but also enjoy the joy that God brings by gaining and new perspective.
Many thoughts and prayers.
